Cleaning is necessary for just about every industry; whether it’s your local pub or supermarket, cleaning is always happening in some form. Industrial cleaning is performed with large machinery, often on sites within quarries, construction sites and plant sites.

Beresford Contracting happily offers services which include a range of machinery and qualified professionals who are experienced in using them. We mainly service Tunstead quarry, based in Buxton, Derbyshire.

A plant this size requires constant maintenance and cleaning to ensure it runs efficiently, safely and smoothly.

Disab Vacuum Services

The purpose of a Disab is to remove unwanted spillages or general maintenance that is required on all industrial sites.

Whether you are looking to remove wet or dry products, a disab can adjust accordingly. The high volume suction capacity alongside a flexible boom system makes the lifting and collecting of various matter much easier. The disab is such an efficient tool.

This industrial vacuuming method lends itself to removing materials from hoppers, pits, silos, tanks, vessels, or just loose on the ground. A disab can remove materials such as;

  • Sediments
  • Sludge
  • Slurries
  • Filter cake
  • APCr (ash)
  • Powder
  • Sand
  • Gravel
  • Cement

Beresford Contracting Disab Hire

Our disab is mainly used in Tunstead, Buxton, on one of the sites we service 24/7, 365 days a year.

We provide a lorry mounted disab which is used on-site to remove a mixture of materials. Our unit is used on lots of reactive work at the drop of a hat; this is due to the nature of the environment of a large quarry that produces over 7 billion tonnes of aggregate a year.

The user-friendly flexible 200mm suction boom is the equivalent of a hoovers suction pipe; this allows the user to perform tasks with the unit in much smaller to reach areas than a lorry itself can fit. Windows, doorways, air vents etc., can allow the pipe to reach all areas that require cleaning.

Our team of professionals regularly undergo new training and are all inducted and hold up to date qualifications that allow them to work on many sites.

We provide highly comprehensive method statements and risk assessments for each project that we are asked to be a part of, and invite all enquiries to contact our office for further information.
